BOARD MEMBER RECRUITMENT

Are you looking for a way to have an impact? The Brave Like Gabe Foundation is adding new board members as we chart a course for growth. We are looking for people with previous non-profit board experience, a passion for our mission, and skills including Human Resources, Non-Profit Finance, Fundraising, and Governance. We meet virtually so candidates from around the United States are welcome! Since 2018, we have granted more than $2 million to rare cancer research, and we're just getting started.

Denver Colfax Marathon

May 17-18, 2025 in Denver, Colorado

Register for the Denver Marathon and opt into Charity Partners to choose Brave Like Gabe Foundation from the drop down menu! There is no additional charge to run for BLG and you will receive fundraising support and incentives as you reach your goals.

Grandmas Marathon

June 20-21, 2025 in Duluth, MN

As an official charity partner for Grandma's Marathon, we are excited to offer entries to the Grandma’s Marathon weekend race of your choice and the following perks:

  • Merchandise

  • Dedicated staff to help reach fundraising goals

  • Invitations to virtual team pep talks & in-person gatherings on race weekend

  • Additional perks for participants who surpass their fundraising goals

Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend

October 3-5, 2025 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN

Race for a cause! Add meaning to your miles by joining our Brave Like Gabe charity team for the Twin Cities Marathon weekend. We are excited to offer entries for the TC 10 Mile and Half Marathon events.

TCS NYC Marathon

November 2, 2025 in New York City, NY

The Brave Like Gabe Foundation is honored to be an Official Charity Partner for the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon. If you have secured a 2025 TCS NYC Marathon entry through the lottery or a qualifying time, you can still participate and fundraise for Team BLG. Perks include personalized fundraising page, staff support, merchandise and race weekend gatherings in NYC.
