Gabe met Chip and Joanna Gaines in a chance encounter in Central Park in late 2017. What started as a casual conversation about how Chip could get into running and cross a marathon off his bucket list evolved into much, much more with the very first Silo District Marathon taking place in Waco last May. 100% of the proceeds from the race benefitted the Brave Like Gabe Foundation as we work to support rare cancer research. Join us again this year for a memorable race and a visit to the famed Magnolia Market at the Silos. Chip became a marathoner in 2018 but will be taking on the 1/2 marathon in 2019!
