Silo District Marathon: Waco, Taxas
After a chance meeting in New York City last fall, Gabe agreed to coach Chip Gaines, host of HGTV's Fixer Upper for an upcoming race. This May, she will be cheering him on at the Silo District Marathon. This will be Chip’s very first marathon—actually, it will be his very first race ever.
"We will be able to donate 100% of the profits from the race to further the much-needed research on rare cancers, which make up 50% of all cancer diagnoses. It is our honor to come alongside Gabe and others with similar diagnoses to find answers, solutions and, ultimately, cures." - Silo District Marathon
Brave Like Gabe 5k: St. Paul, Minnesota
The Brave Like Gabe 5k is the first event hosted by the newly established Brave Like Gabe Foundation. In this introductory event, the Brave Like Gabe 5k proceeds will benefit the Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Research Foundation, a patient-founded organization for the incurable rare salivary gland cancer that Gabe has been living with for nearly ten years.
